Job Description

Collaborating with your teammates, firm leadership and studio staff, your main responsibility is to lead varied marketing activities that support our business. You will leverage your creativity and utilize/customize our robust templates to design branded print and digital materials that resonate with our clients. This includes leading pursuit efforts, developing compelling graphic and written content, supporting practice areas with business development activities, supporting our external messaging, and collaborating internally to keep our branded materials up to date. With your strong organizational skills, you are responsible for keeping various tasks on track to ensure requirements and deadlines are met.


The marketing team supports ten active practice areas in a creative, flexible, and curious studio environment. Day-to-day tasks are always shifting, and no day is ever the same! Tasks and responsibilities of a Senior Marketing Coordinator include, but are not limited to:



  • Maintaining a standard of graphic design excellence across all efforts.

  • Preparing, managing, and delivering proposals, qualifications, and presentations for current and prospective clients, including communication with internal teams, potential clients, and consultants.

  • Drafting, editing, organizing, and proofing various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, award submittals, brochures, media relations pieces, website updates, and interview material.

  • Researching clients, market trends, and other information to fully understand prospective clients and the local competitive landscape.

  • Ability to coach presentation teams and instill best practices.

  • Managing project and client data in firmwide databases.

  • Coordinating events, materials for trade shows, content for speaking engagements, direct mail campaigns, award submittals, advertisements, and select public relations efforts.

  • Initiating strategy behind the collateral content and using storytelling to enhance the strategy.

  • Supporting firmwide initiatives.

  • Using a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities in an organized, timely, and consistent way.

  • Self-checking work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility.


 


Qualifications


Our ideal candidate will be technically proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and possess strong graphic and writing skills. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry, Architecture firm experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, design, or another related field is required. 


You must be team-oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task. It is essential that you are able to follow directions, provide mentorship, and have an eye for detail. If you are ambitious, accountable, and driven, you will thrive here!


Requirements


Qualified and interested candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, and graphic work samples. Design samples should demonstrate your ability to combine both visual and written content; this could include excerpts from a proposal submission, a magazine layout, a presentation, etc. Please include all information in a single PDF not to exceed 10MB.


This position is for our Boston studio; we are a hybrid workplace with in-studio presence required a minimum of 3-days per week. Candidates must be available to be in-person, in-studio, when requested.
