Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in our Pediatric Adolescent GYN practice is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians. The RN evaluates patients, assists with procedures, and develops and implements individualized plans of care based on patient needs. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care in a Pediatric Adolescent GYN practice setting.

  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs, physician orders, and established protocols.

  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring.

  • Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients, considering their medical diagnoses and functional health status.

  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions, including medication administration, wound care, and patient education.

  • Manage patient care activities, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.

  • Document patient care accurately and in accordance with standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

  • Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model, emphasizing holistic care and patient empowerment.


Required Skills & Experience:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physician practice setting, preferably in Pediatrics or Adolescent Gynecology.

  • Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software applications.
