This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in various aspects of the sustainable fashion industry and direct mentorship from our founder.

Position Overview:

This role is perfect for someone starting their career in marketing, eager to gain valuable experience directly from the founder of AYANI. As a Marketing and Operations Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training and have the chance to contribute significantly to the brand's growth. This position is a true all-rounder role, encompassing marketing tasks, customer assistance, and collaboration on daily business operations.

Your responsibilities include

  • Create copy and promotional texts for the online store and partner marketplaces.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating photoshoots, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics.
  • Design creatives and marketing materials for various promotions.
  • Manage social media marketing, including content creation and engagement.
  • Contribute to newsletter marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in managing collaborations with brands, press and editorials. 
  • Learn and gradually take on responsibilities in paid advertising strategies.
  • Assist the founder in daily business operations to support overall brand growth.
  • Once/twice a week: assist customers in the Berlin store to help find the perfect dress.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service both in-store and online.

Your qualifications and skills

  • You possess a bachelor degree in marketing, fashion, or economics.
  • You possess some practical experience in the marketing field through internships or working student positions in the past.
  • You embrace sustainability, conscious living, and purposeful practices, reflecting a commitment to the core values of AYANI.
  • You grasp new concepts quickly, work efficiently under deadlines, and handle multitasking responsibilities effectively.
  • You exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving, displaying a willingness to independently research and investigate issues to find optimal solutions.
  • You are comfortable with working independently and you are good with people. Engaging with customers in-store is a joyful experience for you. 
  • You display a cooperative attitude, always ready to assist the team when necessary, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • You demonstrate reliability and a long-term commitment to the company's growth.
  • You thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, bringing flexibility to adapt to evolving work tasks and contribute to the brand's dynamic growth.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential, enabling effective communication with domestic and international partners and customers.
