Landscape Construction Technicians are front-line workers who work under the direction of a Foreman. They diligently work hard to complete the physical work tasks assigned to them. They make sure the work gets done safely, efficiently, and with quality. They endeavor to show respect to their assigned foreman and follow instructions carefully. They may also receive direction or training from upper management.
What you’ll be doing as a Landscape Construction Technician:
• Construction of patios, fireplaces, retaining walls, and other hardscape projects
• Planting bed and lawn installations
• Accurately take measurements and use basic hand and cutting tools
• Keeps the Crew Leader aware of all client concerns and communication on the job site
• Maintains a positive, responsive, and flexible attitude to all clients
What you’ll bring to the table as a Landscape Construction Technician:
• High school diploma
• Good work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
• Ability to work Monday- Friday and some Saturdays
• Repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – working temperatures may be between 0 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in extreme cold or wintry precipitation
• Ability to use required hand and power tools as needed
• Committed to working safely and in a timely manner
• Experience using skid-steer and other equipment is very desirable but not required
• Knowledge of landscape materials and construction processes are not required but are an added bonus.
