We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Mechanic who will provide vital support to experienced mechanics. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in heavy machinery maintenance, including hydraulic system care, general equipment upkeep, entry-level repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in basic general equipment maintenance activities.
- Under supervision, participate in entry-level repair tasks on and off-road heavy equipment.
- Assist with preventive maintenance efforts to ensure equipment readiness and reliability.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of equipment.
- Keep the work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines meticulously to ensure a secure working environment.
- Operate hand & power tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools and their use.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Effective communication skills and a positive team player.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards.
- Must have a general mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with Heavy Equipment is a plus but not necessary.
- Offer of employment contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test.
The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $25-$35 per hour.
