Shell Solar Industries Announces Appointment of Maarten Geuze as President
Camarillo, California, United States March 21, 2005

Maarten Geuze has joined Shell Solar Industries in Camarillo, California as its new President. Along with that role, he is also the Global Vice President of Manufacturing for Shell Solar, based in The Netherlands. In that capacity, he is responsible for the manufacture of photovoltaics (solar electric panels) in the US, Germany, and Portugal. Maarten has a background of over two decades of experience in various operations throughout the multinational Shell Group. Most recently, he was the Shell Chemicals Service Manager for Shell Global Solutions International in Amsterdam, and prior to that, the Operations Manager for Chemicals Technology at the Shell Research and Technology Centre in Amsterdam.
