OCR Solar & Roofing Names R. Michael Momboisse President

OCR Solar & Roofing, Northern California’s premier installer of roofing and roof-integrated solar modules has announced that R. Michael Momboisse joined the company as its president. Momboisse will be responsible for leading OCR’s vision of becoming a dominant player in the integrated solar roofing marketplace.

Momboisse brings more than 25 years experience in strategic growth and venture capital financing with a long list of successful merger and acquisition transactions. An expert in strategic development, Momboisse plans to aggressively leverage the company’s core competency in the residential housing space—targeting further expansion into up-and-coming growth areas receptive to solar.

Momboisse most recently served as “Of Counsel” in the Corporate Department at the Silicon Valley law firm, Carr & Ferrell LLP. Previously, he was Vice President and Co-Manager of Shugart Ventures where he oversaw a portfolio of early-stage software, technology, environmental and media companies. Prior to that, Momboisse served as CFO and VP Legal/Corporate Development at EMCON, a NASDAQ-listed national engineering, consulting and construction company.

Momboisse graduated from Santa Clara University, with honors, receiving a BSC degree in Accounting. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
