Livingston to Lead Innovation across Three Business Divisions

Ecos Consulting (Ecos), a Portland, Ore. based firm that delivers proven results for clients looking to reduce their energy use, shrink their carbon footprint or make their operations more sustainable, has appointed Jonathan Livingston as Vice President, Product and Service Innovation. In this newly created role, Jonathan will guide development of Ecos’ new initiatives in the areas of energy efficiency, climate solutions and sustainability.

“Jonathan brings a wealth of experience in identifying and launching breakthrough energy-saving solutions,” said Lois Gordon, President of Ecos Consulting. “He will guide the expansion of Ecos’ business and technology portfolio of solutions for our clients. We are honored to have him on board.”

Livingston has more than 20 years of experience in innovation management, including research, evaluation, and deployment of energy efficient technologies and renewable and fossil-fueled generation systems. Prior to joining Ecos, Livingston served as Emerging Technologies Team Lead at Pacific Gas & Electric Company in San Francisco. In this role, he oversaw emerging technologies portfolio development and deployment support for new energy savings and demand reduction solutions.

Livingston has served as advisor and board member for numerous organizations that promote energy innovation. He founded the biennial Summit on Emerging Technologies in Energy Efficiency and created the California Clean Tech Open Energy Efficiency Award. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Masters of Science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.

Livingston will be based in Ecos’ downtown San Francisco office.
