SunEdison Names David Buzby Chairman and Appoints Retired KeySpan CFO Gerald Luterman to Board

Appointment of Top Energy Executives to Board Strengthens Traditional Energy Expertise for Largest Solar Energy Services Provider

SunEdison, North America’s largest solar energy services provider, today named independent outside director David Buzby, 47, as non-executive, independent Chairman. The solar energy services provider also named Gerald Luterman, 63, as an independent outside director. Mr. Luterman was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of KeySpan

(NYSE:KSE), one of the largest gas distribution and integrated energy companies in the United States. Buzby, who is a founding investor and has served on SunEdison’s board since 2003, has been involved in investing in and operating businesses since 1988. He is also currently the Lead Director of ValueClick (NASD: VCLK) and a board member of Xunlight. Previously, he was a director at Prevalent Power, Vice Chairman and CFO of Best Internet, and CEO of Resource Holdings.

In addition to KeySpan, Mr. Luterman previously served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Arrow Electronics (NYSE:ARW) and has held senior financial positions with American Express and Emerson Electric. He currently serves on the board of directors for IKON Office Solutions (NYSE:IKN), U.S. Shipping Partners L.P. (NYSE:USS), and the Lutheran Medical Center.
