Hamish I. Marshall Joins NaiKun as Director of Corporate Planning

NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc., ("NaiKun")
is pleased to announce the appointment of Hamish I. Marshall as
Director of Corporate Planning.
Mr. Marshall previously served as Manager of Corporate Planning for NaiKun in 2005 and 2006. In 2006 he accepted a position in the Prime Minister's Office as Manager of Strategic Planning. In this role, Mr. Marshall played an important role in the strategic planning of the Government of Canada, by managing the quantitative and qualitative public opinion research process of the Prime Minister's Office. In the course of his work he frequently wrote and presented analysis to the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
In 2004, Mr. Marshall spent time in Afghanistan working in Business Development for Kabul-based Internews. In this position he developed financial models and analysis for a network of 24 radio stations.

"His strong background in critical analysis, strategy development and implementation and public opinion research, coupled with his experience in communications and government will significantly contribute to the further development of our corporate strategy as we prepare a bid for BC Hydro's upcoming Clean Power Call."
Mr. Marshall holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oxford and an Honours BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto. He is a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal in recognition of outstanding contributions to Canada.
NaiKun Wind Development is developing North America's first offshore wind project in Hecate Strait off the coast of Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands). The 320 MW phase one project is located in an area known as the Haida Energy Field (HEF), host to some of Canada's best wind regimes. Construction is expected to begin in 2009.
