Jan Zander New Head of Conergy Brand Management

With Jan Zander, the Hamburg-based Conergy AG has yet again managed to bring another renowned management personality on board for their global marketing division.The 42-year old, born in Hamburg, looks back on 11 years of experience with the energy provider E.ON Hanse, the last years of which he acted as their marketing director. At Conergy, Zander shall be responsible for the global function areas of Brand Management, Trade Fairs & Events, Online, Sponsoring & Cooperation as well as Media Management and report directly to Jan Hartzel, Director Corporate Marketing.

As marketing director at E.ON Hanse AG, Zander not only furthered the development of the brand, but was also responsible for all communication processes directed at the end customer within the energy business context. Jan Zander views his change from energy provider to Europe’s top-selling solar enterprise as a great challenge: “I see the quick and effective development of the Conergy brand into the leading global generic brand in the area of Renewable Energies as one of the most exciting and complex tasks a marketing specialist can face.”
