Description:
My client is a DOE (Designated Operational Entity) with an established global presence. They are looking for a qualified consultant with proven JI (Joint Implementation) and CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) audit experience to join their JI audit team in Moscow.
Responsibilities of the role include:
· Taking responsibility for the assessment of key JI project registration requests and issuances including the validation and verification of such projects
· Occasionally assisting CDM audit teams in offices in the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) region
· Assisting the JI team in Kiev, Ukraine
· Maintaining strong relationships with project developers, investors and owners
· Project acquisition, capacity building, calculation of financial proposals
· Participation at conferences, fairs and roadshows
· Ensuring that EIA is properly evidenced within the document and that there are no deviations from the selected methodology
· Ensuring a realistic crediting period is in the PDD
Requirements
Skills and qualifications required:
· Prior work experience in a DOE focusing on validation and verification of CDM or JI projects
· Clear understanding of different methodologies
· Fluency in spoken and written Russian and English
· Willingness to travel
· Willingness to work in Moscow
