Description:
This specialist waste-to-energy firm is looking for an environmental waste project development specialist to join their waste-to-energy construction and development department.
Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing all aspect so f the project development from conception to completion / grid connection, frequently visiting the project sites in order to manage these aspects of the projects effectively
• Developing waste-to-energy projects in SE Asia and ensuring all costs and finances are managed and the project is on schedule for the completion date
• Meeting with clients in order to ensure that the project meets all their requirements and any problems the project encounters are run by the client to provide client-driven solutions
• Managing design and development and the preparation of technical specifications for waste-to-energy projects
• Supporting the engineering staff and ensuring that the project engineering runs in-line with design and development constraints
Requirements
Skills Required:
• Experience of developing waste-to-energy projects for SE Asian clients
• Excellent technical knowledge and some engineering experience is essential (environmental, mechanical, electrical)
• Good managerial skills / client-facing skills and experience of leading a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage costs, design and development
• Fluency in at least one SE Asian language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Taiwanese, Malay)
