GET(3519) reports Oct., 2009 Sales reaches NT$ 1 Billion with Monthly Wafer Shipment YoY 65% Increase

China Thin-film module line start building for new module
business
Please be informed Green Energy Technology (3519TT) announces its
net sales for October 2009 reached NT$ 1 billion and starts building
thin-film end module line in China for its new module business.
GET sales for Oct., 2009 were NT$ 1,003 million, a MoM increase of 6% and
YoY increase of 18.88%. Sales for January through October 2009 totaled
NT$7,076 million, a decrease of 6.5% compared to the same period in 2008.
GET wafer shipment in October increased 65% YoY and utilization kept 100%
in October. GET brand name recognition has made customers pushing GET to
develop mono-crystalline business. Along with new high efficient multi
crystalline “Super Wafer,” GET will further evaluate proper timing to expand
capacity and increase aggressively market share in global solar industry.
GET announced also start building thin film end-module factory in Shandong,
China. The module line is planned to start from capacity 15MW then ramp to
30MW. GET plans to utilize domestic low-cost consumable materials to
develop public BIPV projects cooperating with domestic government. GET is
also planning to further cooperate with different thin film technologies to build
up GET end module packaging business.
